There are so many people out there who, when their computer goes wrong, take it straight down to the computer shop to spend money getting the problem sorted, Worse still (in my mind) think "Oh my computer's a couple of years old, I'll just buy a new one".

Quite often the problems can easily be sorted with just a little time and effort.  This page has a few of the best resources I've found to maintain my system, fixing things before they become a problem, and if they do go wrong how to find that elusive fix!

Caveat:  I don't claim to be an expert, if you fiddle around with your system you do so at your own risk -  don't come crying to me if it all goes pear-shaped!!!
