Now that everything is in the case, and there's miles and miles of wires hanging out of the side of the case, It's necessary to make sense of everything, and connect everything together. As with everything, I found it best to plan how to connect everything. I took the following steps Connect the case USB sockets and switchgear to the motherboard Connect the remaining components to the motherboard connect the PSU to the everything apart from the motherboard Check that everything so far is wired together correctly Connect the PSU to the motherboard If you haven't done so already, you will have to get out the instruction booklet for the motherboard. I found Gigabyte's instruction booklet very clear. In fact so much so, that there were a number of times that I jumped ahead of myself, and had to recheck my work to ensure that it was right. It is crucial to check and re-check that everything is installed and connected properly as the next stage is to turn the power on, configure the system and then install the software.
